Boys: A Sex Trafficking Documentary

The number of human trafficking victims is staggering, reaching into the hundreds of thousands in the United States and tens of millions worldwide. While awareness is growing, it tends to focus on the young women and girls who are sexually exploited. Male victims are often overlooked.

The new documentary Boys illuminates their plight. Through interviews with victims, service providers, and others in the field, it puts a face – multiple faces, actually – on a difficult and growing issue and relates real-life experiences.

The Library screens the 55-minute film, and a discussion follows. The event is co-produced by RestoreOne, a North Carolina-based nonprofit committed to assisting male survivors of sex trafficking.
