Kansas City Public Library resumes Pop In Pick Up Services at Newly Renovated North-East Branch

(Kansas City, Mo.) – The Kansas City Public Library’s North-East Branch will resume Pop In Pick Up holds services at the renovated space at 6000 Wilson Rd. on Thursday, December 17.

Staff has been operating out of a temporary location across the street while the branch has been undergoing renovations for the last year. North-East’s Pop In Pick Up hours will be Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. until 5 p.m..

The Village Post Office boxes will be moved back to the renovated location. The Library plans to resume computer services and Kids Café at the branch in early 2021 and the renovation is projected to be complete next year.

The North-East Branch renovation was made possible by voter approval of the 2018 levy vote and donations from the William T. Kemper Foundation, the Sunderland Foundation, and the Marion and Henry Bloch Family Foundation.
