Opened after the Library’s last levy increase in 1996, the Sugar Creek Branch serves the city of Sugar Creek and the Fairmont area of Independence. Beyond its collection of books and other materials, it reaches out to seniors at area community centers and to area schools with book clubs and story times. Branch computers are popular with teens and adult job seekers.
