Adventures in Creative Writing

Online Event
Language - Literacy

Explore the foundations of creative writing through fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction in this course designed specifically for middle and high school students.

We will focus on the basics of writing -- character development, dialogue, image crafting, structure, point of view, and artful language choice -- through careful reading, analysis, discussion, and practice.

The course aims to excite students about the possibilities of creative writing outside of the typical examples in education, introducing them to more contemporary and accessible forms and styles.

Space is limited, and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. An RSVP is required to secure your spot. You will be sent a link to access the course in the days preceding the first class.
