Personal Writing in Unprecedented Times

Online Event
Language - Literacy

These are troubling times for many of us, and it can often feel like there is no place to release our most intimate, often jumbled, inner monologue. Writing can be a way to organize our thoughts, self-reflect with honesty, and discover more about ourselves.

This course in personal writing is designed to get writers thinking about their own unique perspectives and what they can add to the world of creating writing. We will focus on three genres of creative nonfiction: prose poem, personal essay, and memoir or micro-memoir.

Space is limited, and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. An RSVP is required to secure your spot You will be sent a link to access the course in the days preceding the first class.
