Stop in at the North-East Public Library for a healthy after-school snack and fun activity, craft, or game. In partnership with Harvesters, Kids Cafe will be every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 4:00-5:00.

You must be ages 4-18 to receive a meal and the meal must be eaten in the kids cafe room.

In class you will learn basic English skills: grammar, listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, and conversation. No fee or books required.

Kickboxing meets fitness plus abs! In this class you will go through several cardio drills which include a series of repetitive punches, kicks and other self-defense moves all set to popular music. Besides a flat belly or six-pack abs this class will strengthen you for improved posture, flexibility in the lower back and more. All abs exercises are performed from a chair. SPACE IS LIMITED!!

This 12-week course meets every Wednesday night from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Central Library. It is designed to help develop the language skills necessary to pass the USCIS naturalization test. Students will be taught the vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation found on the N-400 form and the 100 civics questions. Sign up here.

Central Cinema Nights is a movie screening in the Central Library’s Durwood Film Vault taking place Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Join us as we watch and discuss documentaries and feature films in a socially conscious setting, chosen to fit a monthly theme. This month's theme: Celebrating Black History Month with Kanopy.

Join us this Feburary as we showcase
Black filmakers from our Kanopy collection.  Come in from the cold and enjoy world-class, award wining cinema from some of the brightest stars in the buisiness.  Don't worry if you can't make it; all these films can be streamed online with your library card.
