Listening to music can be a great source of inspiration for writers as they work to develop new characters and plots. In this class, read examples of how song lyrics and emotions in music have aided authors like Marissa Meyer and F. Scott Fitzgerald in developing their stories. Choose a few songs to inspire a new story.
This class is taught by a graduate student in the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s MFA Program in Creative Writing.
