We hope you'll join us for our third Civic Saturday in Kansas City! Civic Saturdays are all about a renewed sense of shared civic purpose through reflection, reckoning, and recommitment. We're thrilled to be in person this year at the Pilgrim Center (3807 Gillham Road, Kansas City , MO 64111). Our focus is on the goal of food security in Kansas City. We'll start the event with an expert panel sharing what's happening in Kansas City, how the City is countering food insecurity, and what Kansas Citians can do to connect with resources whether they need help or want to help. We'll need you to register to attend the panel from 11-12, but the resource fair that follows is open to everyone!

Come out to hear all about what groups like the Seed Library @ the Kansas City Public Library, University of Missouri Extension (and their Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program), the Kansas City Community Gardens, The Pilgrim Center, Cultivate KCThe Giving GroveAfter the HarvestCentral Presbyterian Church, and more are doing right now in KC!  We'll also have a limited number of boxed lunches from Thelma's Kitchen.

Plus, visit with the weed-chomping pygmy goats Sassy and Agnes of Goats On The Go; get your growing season started with a container salad garden, vegetable plants, seeds, and more!

Please RSVP below for the panel.
