During the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Library is working with our digital services providers to expand available items, temporarily increase borrowing limits, and more, so you can get the things you want to read, watch, listen to, or learn from while responsibly practicing social distancing… all for free with your Library card. Though our physical locations have recently opened, we want you to know that the Library remains an online source of information about what’s happening in our community and where to turn during the coronavirus outbreak. We'll be sharing various links and resources throughout the coming weeks.

 With Kansas City’s stay-at-home order due to expire May 15, 2020, the Library is working out the details of a careful, phased-in reopening of its physical locations. All have been closed since late March to mitigate the COVID-19 outbreak. A timeline for the staggered reopening is still being determined.
