What is the secret to growing a great tomato? Find out when you attend this workshop.

We will cover planting, growing, pruning, and harvesting of tomatoes.

James Worley, a.k.a. “The Tomato Whisperer,” will lead the workshop. James is a home gardener who has grown almost 800 varieties of tomato plants in his Kansas City backyard.  He has learned how best to grow tomatoes in Kansas City by making a lot of mistakes—and is still learning each year about how to make the best of the crazy conditions we have in Missouri.

James also hosts an annual Tomato Tasting on the first Saturday of August with over 50  types of tomatoes to sample and enjoy.

Admission is FREE.
