Getting started with native plants can be easy if you have the right information. In this workshop we will cover:

What are native plants
How to select the right native plants for your landscape
Where to purchase native plants
Planning and creating a native plant garden
Caring for and maintaining native plants
Collecting native plant seeds

Paula Diaz with Kansas City Native Plant Initiative will lead us through this informative workshop. Paula is also the owner of GardeNerd Consultations, which provides designs incorporating native plants into traditional home and business landscapes. Additionally, she is a member of GrowNative! and the Missouri Native Plant Society.
